RCF XPS 4KD Four-Channel DSP Amplifier with Dante
The XPS 4KD is the install-oriented member of RCF's XPS amplifier line. Four Class-D channels deliver 1000 W each at 4 ohms and 700 W each at 8 ohms, and the processing runs at 96 kHz in 40-bit floating point with 32-bit internal routing, so a four-way system can be built and re-patched entirely inside the box.
Routing is the reason to specify the D: alongside four analog XLR inputs there are twelve digital inputs over Ethercon and XLR carrying Dante and AES/EBU, with XLR signal outputs and Speakon power outputs. Two programmable GPI and three programmable GPO handle contact-closure logic for paging, mute zones and fault reporting. Response is 20 Hz to 23 kHz within 3 dB, analog signal to noise is better than 108 dB, and damping factor at 4 ohms exceeds 200.
