RCF PR 4093 Nine-Input Three-Output Preamplifier
The PR 4093 is a paging and background-music front end for a PA rack. Six balanced mic/line inputs on XLR carry 18 to 21 V phantom power, and the first of them has a VOX circuit that ducks the programme automatically when someone speaks, which is what you want for an announcement microphone at a reception desk. Three stereo RCA inputs handle players and other line sources.
Three outputs on jack, RCA and XLR give you a main feed, a dedicated mix of inputs 1 through 6, and a recording send, with tone controls on the front panel. Response is 20 Hz to 22 kHz within 3 dB, distortion is under 0.03 percent at 1 kHz, and crosstalk is below -68 dB. It runs on 115 or 230 V mains at 18 W, cools by convection, and accepts 24 V DC for battery backup.
