RCF CDK455 1-Inch Compression Driver

The CDK455 is a replacement and OEM compression driver for two-way point-source cabinet designs. Its ultra-compact body and 1.75-inch Polyimide-Kapton dome allow a low crossover point, which is what lets a designer hand more of the midrange to the horn instead of the woofer. A reinforced-rib bonding design on the voice coil former is aimed at long-term reliability under continuous program.

The 1-inch exit throat mates to standard horns, nominal impedance is 8 ohms, and it handles 70 W continuous with 140 W program at 109 dB sensitivity. Frequency range runs 1.2 kHz to 20 kHz. The ceramic magnet assembly mounts on four 6 mm threaded holes at 90 degrees and weighs 2.71 lbs.
