Panasonic PT-VMW51U7 Laser Projector

The Panasonic PT-VMW51U7 is the WXGA model in the portable VM laser line: 5,200 lumens from a 3-chip LCD engine at a native 1,280 x 800, with HDMI inputs that accept 4K source signals and scale them to the panel. Unlike the fixed-lens short-throw models, this one carries a 1.6x manual zoom and lens shift (horizontal +/-20%, vertical +44%), so it can be dropped into an existing ceiling mount or set on a table and squared up without moving the projector. Throw ratio runs 1.09:1 to 1.77:1, covering images from about 30 to 300 inches, and dynamic contrast is rated 3,000,000:1.

Solid Shine laser illumination replaces the lamp entirely, rated at 20,000 hours in Normal mode and 24,000 hours in ECO, and 6-point screen correction squares the image on curved or corner surfaces. Connectivity includes two HDMI inputs, two computer (VGA) inputs, DIGITAL LINK over RJ-45 for running video, audio and control down a single CAT cable, plus network, RS-232 and USB. The white chassis weighs 6.5 kg (14.3 lb) and runs at 26 dB in ECO mode.
