Panasonic ET-DLE055 Fixed Short-throw Lens

The ET-DLE055 is a fixed-focus short-throw lens for Panasonic's 1-Chip DLP installation projectors. At a 0.785:1 throw ratio for WUXGA, it lays down a large image from very close in, which is what rear-projection cabinets and shallow rooms need when the projector sits just behind or beneath the screen.

The lens locks to the projector bayonet and stays on-axis; there is no zoom, so framing is set by projector placement and lens shift. It weighs about 0.8 kg and uses the same compact 95 mm barrel as the rest of the DLE range, so it swaps in the field without tools. It fits Panasonic's 1-Chip DLP lineup, including the PT-RZ, RW and RX series.
