The 500222 pairs a 1-inch titanium dome tweeter with a 6.25-inch graphite-cone woofer for 40W of clean output, running 96Hz to 20kHz. It works as a straight 8-ohm speaker or on a 70V/100V distributed line with adjustable taps for level.

Adjustable taps let one amplifier zone feed ceiling speakers at different volumes without a per-speaker attenuator, which is the point of a 70V/100V system in the first place. It covers background paging and music in offices, retail, and hospitality ceilings.
