Marshall V-MD173-DT Desktop Production Monitor
The V-MD173-DT is the desktop version of Marshall's 17-inch modular production monitor, shipping with the ST-15 desktop stand instead of rack ears. The Full HD 1920x1080 panel runs at 400 cd/m2 brightness with a 600:1 contrast ratio and displays 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 625i, and 525i formats, with composite and component loop-through for feeding a second display.
What sets it apart is its modular input bay: cards such as the MD-3GE (3G-SDI with loop-through), MD-HDIx2-A (dual HDMI), MD-DVII-A (DVI-I), and MD-TC-A (fiber optical) slot in and can be swapped in the field as a facility's signal formats change. Production tools include false color, blue gun, freeze, pixel-to-pixel, color temperature presets, and user-definable function buttons. It runs on 12 VDC drawing up to 3.5A (32W max).
