The 055 Carbon 4-Section Tripod Kit pairs Manfrotto's 055 legs with the Quick Power Lock flip-lock system, which the company rates 50 percent more rigid than the previous generation, with a 90-degree column that swings from vertical to horizontal without removing it from the tripod. Reaches 185 cm (72.83 in) at full height, 64.5 cm (25.39 in) at minimum, and folds to 67 cm (26.38 in), carrying up to 15 kg (33.07 lb).

The kit ships complete with a head and Manfrotto's MOVE quick release system, which swaps between an XPRO ball head (BHQR) or a Q6 top-lock head (Q6T) depending on the variant. An Easy Link 3/8-16 mount on the column takes an LED light or reflector arm without a second attachment point.
