Lumantek ez-DSK Live CG Generator / Downstream Keyer
The Lumantek ez-DSK lays computer graphics over a live SDI program: subtitles, images, image sequences, videos, and widgets, all keyed downstream of the switcher. Graphics built in Lumantek's CGER software on a connected computer are turned into a broadcast-grade fill-and-key signal over the USB 3.0 interface and inserted into the incoming program by the integrated downstream keyer. Because the overlay does not consume extra video ports the way a conventional fill/key generator does, insertion happens with zero delay.
It takes an SDI input with a loop output and distributes the keyed result to four SDI outputs and one HDMI output, re-clocking every outgoing port for clean signal integrity. A fail-safe trigger keeps the program passing through if the unit malfunctions, so a graphics fault never takes the show off air.
