Listen Technologies LA-445 Breakaway Lanyard

The LA-445 hangs a ListenTALK transceiver around the neck and lets go if it snags, which is the whole point of a breakaway on a factory floor or a crowded museum stair. Length adjusts from 16.5 in. to 34 in., so it sits right on an adult in a coat and on a child on the same tour.

It comes in five colours: black, red, violet, orange and yellow. Black is the default. Operators running several groups at once, or several languages off one transmitter, hand out a colour per group and can see from across a lobby who belongs where, which is faster than reading a channel number off a screen.
