Lowell SM-BR Bridge Rails for SM Series Speakers, Pair
SM-BR is a pair of 18-gauge galvanized steel bridge rails for Lowell's SM Series sound-masking speakers, which have square enclosures. The rails replace the speaker's original hangers and attach to the six pilot holes already in the back of the enclosure, using the six Phillips head screws supplied in the kit.
Sound masking runs above the ceiling for years without being touched, so the point of a rail set is that the speaker's weight lands on the ceiling grid and structure rather than on the tile. Made in the U.S.A. and sold as a pair.
