Lilliput RM-7028S Dual 7" 3RU Rackmount SDI Monitor

The RM-7028S is the standard two-up rack monitor for a control room or an OB van: two 7-inch IPS panels at 1280 x 800 side by side in 3RU, each fed independently. The 178-degree viewing angle is the reason it works in that job, since the engineer sitting at the rack and the operator standing behind both see the same picture off the same pair of screens.

Each screen takes 3G-SDI, HDMI 1.4, component on BNC and composite, and loops all of them back out, so the monitor sits inline rather than terminating a feed. Tally is integrated and the units are set up over Ethernet from a laptop, which is how a wall of them gets configured without a keyboard per monitor. Brightness is 400 cd/m2, contrast 800:1, power DC 7-24V at 18 W.
