Lewitt LCT 40 SHx Shock Mount

The LCT 40 SHx suspends a Lewitt studio condenser in an elastic cradle so handling noise, stand knocks and floor-borne vibration are attenuated before they reach the capsule. A screw-thread closure clamps the microphone body, which makes mounting quick and leaves nothing to stretch or perish the way rubber bands do.

It threads onto both 3/8 inch and 5/8 inch stands, so it works on a studio boom and a straight floor stand without an adapter. This is the larger SHx frame; Lewitt lists the LCT 40 SHxx for the LCT 840 and LCT 940 bodies.
