Leader LV5600-SER03 Audio Option

The LV5600-SER03 is the hardware audio option for the LV5600 multi waveform monitor, adding physical digital and analog audio ports along with the full analysis suite. It brings Lissajous, surround, mute and clip-error detection, and loudness measurement, and can display 16 channels from one SDI signal or 4 channels from each of four SDI inputs. It is what turns the LV5600 from a video instrument into an audio-and-video instrument.

Digital audio runs on DIN 1.0/2.3 connectors as two groups of 8 channels (16 in total) to the AES3id standard, while analog audio uses a D-sub 37-pin connector carrying 8 balanced channels. Loudness measurement follows ITU-R BS.1770, EBU R128, ARIB TR-B32, and ATSC A/85, and embedded audio conforms to SMPTE ST 299 and ST 272 at 48 kHz / 24-bit. The board ships with its D-sub 37-pin connector, and the same option is offered on the LV7600 rasterizer.
