Leader LV5350-SER24 Built-In SDI Test-Signal Generator Option

The LV5350-SER24 builds an SDI test-signal generator into the LV5350 waveform monitor, so the same box that measures a signal can also originate one for lining up a router, checking a cable run, or troubleshooting a downstream device. It generates from HD-SDI through 12G-SDI, with a full pattern set: 100 and 75 percent color bars, HD and 4K multiformat color bars, color raster, cross hatch, 10-step, limit lamp, check field, lip-sync, and a flat field settable to any level.

A moving box overlays in eight colors at adjustable speed and direction, and up to 16 channels of embedded audio can be inserted at selectable levels for lip-sync and audio checks. Output appears on SDI output terminal 2. Generating 12G-SDI test patterns requires the LV5350-SER28 4K option. The generator is available identically on the LV5300 and LV7300.
