The BC16P is the long one: 16 feet of carbon fibre telescoping boom pole, for wide exteriors, high ceilings and any shot where the mic has to come in from well outside a broad frame. At that reach every gram past the pivot point tells, which is exactly why it is carbon fibre rather than aluminium - a 16-foot metal pole is a two-take proposition.

The XLR cable is coiled inside the tube, so a pole with this many sections extends without dragging a cable through every collar, and there is nothing on the outside to slap the tube and print handling noise on the track. The base takes a side-output XLR down to a mixer or recorder. Built for ENG, EFP and documentary work.
