IDX Endura E-7S Starter Kit

The ES-722 Starter Kit puts a shooter onto the Endura V-mount system with the lighter of IDX's two classic packs: two E-7S 68Wh lithium-ion batteries and the charger to keep them cycling. At just over a pound each, the E-7S packs suit compact ENG cameras and shoulder rigs where a heavier 98Wh cell would throw off balance, and both carry the standard V-mount plate.

The kit's VL-2Plus is a two-channel sequential charger with a built-in 60W power supply: it charges one battery fully before moving to the second and doubles as a bench supply. An included CA4XLR 4-pin XLR power cable lets the charger also feed a camera from AC. It is a clean two-battery rotation that can be expanded to a four-pack kit as needs grow.
