Hercules DJControl Inpulse 500 2-Deck DJ Controller

The DJControl Inpulse 500 is built for the point where practice turns into playing to a room. A sturdy metal backing plate carries the mixer section, and four retractable non-slip feet raise the unit 3.1 in off the table so the jog wheels sit at a comfortable height. Two large touch-detecting platters handle scratching, and 16 backlit RGB rubber pads cover cue, loop, effect and sampler duty.

The audio side is a real hardware mixer rather than a software passthrough: there is a balanced microphone input with its own EQ and saturation meter that works independently of the DJ software, an auxiliary input on both RCA and 3.5 mm, and a hardware filter that can be applied to the external source. Master output is duplicated on RCA and 1/4 in jacks. Serato DJ Lite and DJUCED are both included.
