The XF18mm f/2 R is one of the original X-Series primes and remains a favourite for its size: a slim, light wide-angle that turns an X-body into a genuinely pocketable street and travel camera. Its 27mm full-frame-equivalent angle of view is wide enough to work environments and interiors without the distortion of an ultra-wide.

The f/2 aperture keeps it compact while still separating a subject from its background, and it focuses down to 18cm for close detail. A traditional aperture ring and low weight make it the lens many photographers leave on the camera as a walk-around default.
