Fostex TH-610 Premium Closed-Back Reference Headphones in Black Walnut

The Fostex TH-610 is a closed-back, over-ear reference headphone built around 50mm dynamic drivers with a 1-tesla magnetic circuit and Fostex's bio-dyna diaphragm, a combination tuned for rich low end, a natural midrange, and smooth highs with very low distortion. The earcups are turned from black walnut with a matte finish, and low-repulsion ear pads with an eggshell-membrane leatherette seal the sound in.

The closed design and an easy 25-ohm load at 98dB/mW let the TH-610 play cleanly from portable sources as well as a desktop amp. The Hi-FC cable is detachable on gold-and-rhodium 2-pin connectors and is interchangeable with TH900mk2 cables, and a leatherette carrying bag ships in the box.
