Fluent Audio FA-900-OTE 900 MHz Over-The-Ear Tour Guide System

The FA-900-OTE is Fluent's 900 MHz tour guide and language interpretation system in its over-the-ear trim: one compact transmitter for the guide, and a set of over-the-ear receivers for the group. The over-the-ear form sits differently from an earbud or a folding headphone, which matters on a two-hour walking tour or a shift-long plant visit where listeners keep the unit on the whole time. Audio runs digitally over 25 channels with 1 MHz spacing, so neighbouring groups can work the same building without bleeding into each other.

Every version ships complete: the compact transmitter, a headset microphone for the guide, one over-the-ear receiver and pair of headphones per listener, a soft carry case, and a drop-in charging tray sized to the receiver count. The 5-listener kit uses a 6-slot tray, the 10-listener kit a 12-slot tray, and the 20-listener kit a 24-slot tray, so the whole set goes in overnight and comes out charged. Batteries are 600 mAh lithium polymer, recharging in up to 4 hours on smart charging.
