Crestron USB-EXT-3S USB 3.2 Extender over CAT6a/7 Cable
The USB-EXT-3S extends USB 3.2 Gen 1, 2.0, and 1.1 devices up to 330 ft point to point over a single CAT6a or CAT7 shielded twisted pair run, and it does it with a USB Type-C host connection rather than a Type-B, which is what most current laptops and room devices actually present. The link occupies a single USB tier.
A bidirectional RS-232 pass-through rides on the same cable at up to 115.2k baud on a 4-pin 3.5 mm terminal block, which saves a second run when the far end also needs serial control. Endpoints are metal with vented sides, 0.89 in. by 5.12 in. by 4.90 in., freestanding or surface mountable, and are also available in a 1-gang form. Green PWR and LINK LEDs report power source and link state; a remote endpoint can take power over the link connection, in which case less than 17.5 W is available to peripherals.
