Clear-Com FSII BP24 X4
The FSII-BP24 is the 2.4 GHz beltpack for Clear-Com's FreeSpeak II wireless intercom, giving a roaming crew member up to five full-duplex audio paths with individual level control on each. It runs in the license-free 2.4 GHz ISM band, and an IP53-rated body with a rubberized over-mold shrugs off dust and weather on an outdoor call. Typical range runs about 300 ft (90 m) indoors and 800 ft (240 m) outdoors between transceiver antennas.
A BAT60 lithium-ion battery gives 18-plus hours per charge, or three AA cells cover 6 to 9 hours in a pinch, and a USB port recharges the pack or runs it continuously. This X4 model uses a 4-pin XLR-male headset connector; the line is also built as X5 with a 5-pin female connector and X7 with a 7-pin male. Each pack ships with a USB cable, belt clip, shoulder strap, and BAT60 battery.
