Chief CMA340 Projector Stabilization Kit for Columns
The CMA340 stops a ceiling-hung projector swaying on its column. A long extension column is stiff enough vertically and not nearly stiff enough laterally, so a door slam, an HVAC cycle or a hand on the pole puts the image on the move - and on a long throw a fraction of a degree at the mount is several inches at the screen. The kit guys the column back to the structure with a cable system that clamps to a 1.5 inch NPT extension column and pulls the whole assembly rigid.
Everything needed is in the box: one pole clamp, four 10 foot cables and four turnbuckles, so the tension can be trimmed on each leg until the column sits true. It is a Chief projector accessory, rated to a 500 lb (226.8 kg) capacity, and it is TAA compliant for federal and public-sector work. Order it by Chief part number CMA340.
