This kit is the male PowerTap connector components alone: pins and housing, no cable included. It lets a shop or field crew put a proper PowerTap plug on a cable they already have, instead of buying a full pre-made assembly.

The finished connector mates with the PowerTap receptacle on any Gold Mount battery, delivering unregulated 12-14V power to whatever the cable's other end is terminated for.
