Panasonic AK-PLV100GSJ 4K PL-Mount Studio Camera

The AK-PLV100GSJ puts a Super 35mm, 5.7K sensor with a PL lens mount into Panasonic\'s AK studio camera system, aimed at live productions that want cinema-lens depth of field and look rather than the deep focus of a standard 2/3-type broadcast camera. It runs on the same AK-UCU700 and AK-UCU710 CCUs, or the AK-HCU250 and AK-CFA100 for CCU-light installs, as the rest of the AK line, so it slots into an existing multi-camera system alongside UC4000 or UCX100 bodies.

A 35mm PL mount takes cinema prime and zoom lenses directly, and the camera outputs both HD and 4K resolution up to 2000 TV lines center, with a 62 dB S/N ratio matching Panasonic\'s broadcast-camera line. At 4.2 kg body-only, it is built to live on a studio pedestal or jib rather than a handheld rig.
