Panasonic AK-UCU710 Camera Control Unit
The AK-UCU710 is the step-up CCU in Panasonic\'s AK studio camera line: everything the AK-UCU700 offers as a paid option, ST 2110, Dante audio, NDI, and SRT, ships standard, along with dual SFP28 ports ready for redundant fiber out of the box. It runs the same UC4000, HC3900, and UCX100 camera heads over optical cable out to roughly 2,000 meters, so a facility can mix UCU700 and UCU710 units on one production depending on which cameras need full IP connectivity on day one.
A 3.5-inch color touch panel handles setup and monitoring at the unit, eight standard outputs including two 12G-SDI feeds cover a full studio chain, and high-speed shooting reaches 4x in HD and 2x in 4K for replay work. Panasonic sells this CCU as both the AK-UCU710PSJ and AK-UCU710ESJ order codes; G&G lists both at the same price since Panasonic\'s own documentation does not differentiate them beyond the order code.
