Panasonic AK-CFA100 Camera Fiber Adaptor

The AK-CFA100 is a simple, lower-cost alternative to a full camera control unit for Panasonic\'s CCU-independent AK-UCX100 and AK-PLV100GSJ studio cameras. It supplies power to the camera head and passes its optical composite signal in and out over single-mode LC fiber, reaching up to 2 km without the CCU\'s control-panel and IP-option overhead, for installs where basic power-and-signal is all a fixed camera position needs.

It mounts as a 2U half-size rack unit and draws AC power directly, so it fits a standard equipment rack alongside a switcher and network gear. At 8.5 lbs and roughly the depth of a rack shelf, it is built for permanent installs rather than portable rigs, feeding one UCX100 or PLV100GSJ camera per unit.
