Sony HDC-3200L 4K Native Global Shutter Studio Camera (Head Only)
The Sony HDC-3200L is a 2/3-inch 4K 3-CMOS system camera head built around global shutter sensors, delivering sharp, low-noise images even in dim studio lighting - F10 sensitivity at 1080/59.94p, F11 at 1080/50p, with a -62dB signal-to-noise ratio. Global shutter capture eliminates the rolling-shutter jello effect and banding that plague conventional CMOS cameras under fast pans or strobing light, which matters as much in a sports studio as it does in a house of worship under LED video walls.
A production can start with HD and add 4K (2000 TVL) later through a software license with no hardware swap, protecting the initial investment while leaving a clear upgrade path. The camera supports Sony's SR Live workflow for simultaneous HDR and SDR production from a single crew, and the optional HDCE-TX30 IP extension adaptor lets it output ST 2110 signals directly onto an IP network without a separate CCU in the signal path. This LEMO-connector, fiber-operation head ships without a CCU; an F1.4 prism block with CLEAR, 1/4ND, 1/16ND, 1/64ND, and CROSS filter positions is built in.
