Sony HXC-FZ90 2/3-inch 4K Portable Studio Camera (Body Only)

The HXC-FZ90 is a 2/3-inch 4K CMOS studio camera head for venues that shoot HD now and want 4K later without replacing hardware. The 4K path is unlocked by software licence. Paired with the HXCU-FZ90 camera control unit the system outputs 2160/50p, 59.94p and 60.00p over 12G-SDI and 1080/50p, 59.94p and 60.00p over 3G-SDI, plus 1080/23.98 PsF, 24 PsF and 29.97 PsF. Wide colour BT.2020 with HLG and S-Log3, and Sony's SR Live for HDR workflow, cover 4K HDR productions.

Sony aims it at events, sports, corporate and education work, and the feature set follows: focus assist, automatic control of common settings, high sensitivity, dynamic contrast, and a digital extender that magnifies without visible image degradation. This listing is the camera head alone - add the HXCU-FZ90 CCU, a viewfinder such as the HDVF-EL20, EL30 or EL75, and a remote control panel for shading.
