Symetrix Edge AVoIP DSP Processor
Edge is the Symetrix DSP for the job that does not match a fixed-I/O box. The frame ships with four expansion slots and no committed channel layout, so the analog, AEC, USB, VoIP, and analog telco cards go in whatever combination the room actually needs. Preamps are the same ultra-low noise Symetrix design with 3 dB gain steps used across the range.
An optional 64x64 redundant Dante module puts the frame on a networked backbone alongside third-party components, and a built-in 4-port switch carries Dante and control traffic without a separate 100 Mbit choke point. Connectivity for the rest of the system is broad: 8x8 GPIO, RS-232 terminal blocks, an ARC remote port, and dual Dante plus dual Ethernet ports. The embedded web server handles remote metering, diagnostics, and configurable ARC-WEB browser control, with third-party control through Intelligent Modules and Lua scripting.
