Symetrix 4 Channel Analog Output Card
The 4 Channel Analog Output Card gives a Radius NX or Edge DSP four balanced line outputs. Maximum level is +24 dBu, or +22.8 dBu into a 2k Ohm load, which is deliberately high: it lets a long run to an amplifier rack or a distant zone leave the DSP hot and arrive with headroom intact rather than being lifted at the far end.
Dynamic range is better than 117 dB A-weighted with 0.60 mS of output latency, and digital trim runs from +12 dB down to full off for setting zone levels without touching the amplifier. Output impedance is 300 Ohms balanced, 150 Ohms unbalanced. Connections use the same 3.81 mm terminal blocks on 12-position plugs with strain-relief pull tabs as the rest of the card family, and the card is field swappable by a qualified technician.
