Yamaha MTX/MRX Series DSP Processor
The Yamaha MTX and MRX series are rack-mount DSP processors for zone background music, paging, and conference-room audio. The MTX3 is an 8-input analog matrix with no networking, built for a straightforward single-room or small-building system; the MTX5-D adds redundant primary/secondary Dante with 16 channels in and out, plus support for up to eight channels of Dugan automatic mixing for a single conference space. Both share the same output stage: room EQ, crossover, delay, and limiting on every zone.
The MRX7-D is the top of the line, with 64 channels of Dante alongside 10 analog and 16 YDIF inputs, up to 24 channels of automatic mixing, and a built-in acoustic echo canceller for remote conferencing, so it can run a large multi-room conferencing install on its own without a separate DSP or AEC unit.
