Symetrix 2 Line Analog Telephone Interface Card
The 2 Line Analog Telephone Interface Card adds two lines of PSTN, plain old telephone service, to a Radius NX or Edge DSP. It covers the jobs a building still does over copper: teleconferencing, dial-in paging, remote monitoring of a room, and broadcast feeds where a phone line is the fallback that always works.
The feature set is a full telephone rather than a bare hybrid, with auto-answer, dial, redial, speed-dial, do not disturb, DTMF decode, caller ID, call progress monitoring and line status and fault monitoring. Standard RJ11 ports are provided with parallel connections per line, so a physical handset, a dialler, or an ADA-compliant visual or audible device can share the line. End users can drive it from a PSTN telephone, from SymVue, or from a third-party control device. The card is qualified for use in North America only, and is field swappable by a qualified technician.
