Shure GLXD16+
The GLXD16+ puts Shure's dual-band digital wireless into a guitar pedal, so the receiver lives on the pedalboard instead of a rack. It bundles the GLXD6+ pedal receiver, a GLXD1+ digital bodypack transmitter, and the WA305 premium instrument cable that runs from the bodypack to your guitar. A built-in tuner switches between strobe and needle modes and sets reference pitch anywhere from 432 to 447 Hz, and a 1/4 inch true-bypass input lets you switch between a wired instrument and the wireless one with a footswitch during a set.
The plus generation runs across both the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands, expanding total bandwidth by nearly 250 percent and dodging interference on its own for dropout-free playing. Audio passes flat from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with 120 dB of dynamic range, and the SB904 rechargeable battery delivers up to 12 hours, with a 15-minute quick charge good for about 1.5 hours. The rugged metal chassis is built to bolt into a working pedalboard.
