ESE LX-5116U Self-Setting Analog Wall Display
The LX-5116U is a large analog wall clock that sets itself. Feed it time code and it reads the time, drives its hands to match, and stays trued to the facility reference with no manual setting. A 16-inch dial is legible from about eighty feet, and the movement runs silently, so it works in studios, control rooms, and quiet spaces where a ticking clock would be a problem. A sweep or step second hand is selectable to suit the room.
The clock auto-detects ESE, ASCII, SMPTE, or EBU time code, with IRIG-B available as an option, and runs in either a stand-alone or a time-code reader mode. Battery backup preserves the hand positions through a power interruption, a time zone offset adapts it to multi-site use, and a time code loss indicator flags when the reference drops. It runs on a universal 90 to 264 VAC supply, with a lighted dial and variable brightness control, rackmount, and UL options available.
