ESE ES-104E GPS Based NTP Time Server

The ES-104E puts accurate GPS time on the network without needing an existing IRIG or time code feed to reference. It resolves its own GPS-disciplined time directly from an included active antenna (13-foot cable in the box) and serves it out as NTP over a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet port, a straightforward standalone option for a facility that just needs a network time source.

A voltage-controlled temperature-compensated crystal oscillator keeps the clock running through brief GPS outages, and the unit also provides a TTL lock-status output and ESE (TC90) time code on BNC for equipment that still expects a hardware time code feed. Network authentication covers MD5 and SHA1 symmetric keys with full IPv4/IPv6 support and SNMP v1/v2/v3, and day-to-day admin runs through an embedded HTTP or HTTPS web page.
