ESE ES-102F GPS Master Clock/Time Code Generator
The ES-102F is a GPS-disciplined master clock and time code generator that locks a facility to satellite time and hands it out as broadcast time code. A 12-channel GPS receiver tracks the constellation and drives a six-digit .56" yellow LED front-panel display, while the unit outputs SMPTE-LTC/EBU, ESE, and ASCII (RS-232 and USB) time code plus a 1 PPS pulse-per-second signal for reference-grade timing.
It runs from a universal 90-264 VAC supply and mounts in a 1.75" rack enclosure. Automatic daylight saving correction, time zone offset, and a +/- 10 second offset are configured over RS-232 or USB with ESE's downloadable PC control panel software, and settings survive in flash memory with coin-cell GPS time backup. A GPS lock LED and TTL output confirm sync. Optional 10 MHz reference input (EX10) and an OCXO oscillator (OCXO) are available. It ships with an indoor/outdoor antenna and 13 ft cable.
