ESE ES-101F GPS Master Clock / Time Code Generator
The ES-101F is ESE's entry-level GPS master clock, locking to the satellite constellation through a 12-channel receiver and handing out ESE Format D (RS-232C) and ESE-TC90 time code as standard, with SMPTE, EBU, IRIG-B or IRIG-E available as factory options. Dual 1 PPS outputs at 20% and 50% duty cycle give downstream gear a hard timing edge to lock to, and accuracy stays under 40 nanoseconds once the receiver has a fix.
A GPS lock indicator and a loss-of-signal output report status at a glance, automatic daylight saving correction and time zone offset keep local displays right without manual resets, and a 3-volt lithium coin cell holds time through up to four years without power. It ships in a rugged desktop enclosure with an indoor/outdoor antenna and 13 ft cable, and its time is legally traceable to UTC.
