ESE ES249 ASCII Time Code Distribution Amplifier

The ES-249 is a 1x8 distribution amplifier for serial time data, taking a single RS-232C/ASCII time string and delivering eight identical copies. That lets one ASCII time source feed a rack of displays, logging systems, or automation gear without daisy-chaining or signal degradation.

The single input and eight outputs are all on rear-mounted 9-pin D-sub connectors, and the unit draws very little power (117 VAC, 2 watts maximum) in a 1.75-inch rack enclosure. A UL/CSA approved variant, the ES-249/UL, ships with an approved wall-mount power supply.
