ESE ES-103F GPS Master Clock/Time Code Generator
The ESE ES-103F is a GPS-disciplined master clock and time code generator built to hand a facility one accurate, traceable time reference. A 12-channel GPS receiver locks to the satellite constellation and drives ESE, IRIG-B and ASCII time code outputs (the ASCII stream is available on both RS-232 and USB), plus a 1 PPS pulse for gear that needs a hardware tick. A nine-digit .56-inch yellow LED display on the front panel shows the time at a glance, and a GPS-lock LED with a matching TTL output reports sync status.
The unit ships with an indoor/outdoor antenna and a 13-foot cable, runs on a universal 90-264 VAC supply, and holds time through a coin-cell GPS backup with flash storage of user settings. Automatic daylight saving correction, a time-zone offset and a plus or minus 10-second trim are configured over RS-232 or USB with ESE's PC control-panel software. It fits a 1.75-inch rackmount enclosure, and options add a 10 MHz reference input (EX10) or an OCXO oscillator (OCXO) for higher holdover stability.
