ESE DV-230 HD/SD-SDI Genlockable Pattern Generator

The DV-230 is a genlockable HD/SD-SDI pattern generator that puts a stable reference signal on the bench or into the plant. It outputs 20 test patterns, including color bars, and locks to house timing through a genlock input that accepts either tri-level or bi-level sync, so its output stays framed to the rest of the facility.

Beyond patterns, the DV-230 embeds 500 Hz or 1000 Hz audio tones on any of channels 1 through 8 (Groups 1 and 2) and handles motion, time code, text burn, SMPTE 352M, and CEA-608 closed caption insertion. Settings save to non-volatile memory, and a USB connector drives the control-panel software and field firmware upgrades.
