HK Audio LINEAR SUB 1800 A Active 18 inch Subwoofer

The LINEAR SUB 1800 A is the deeper of the two powered LINEAR subwoofers: an 18-inch cone driver on a 3-inch voice coil in a bass reflex cabinet, driven by the same 1200 W peak Class D amplifier as the 1500 A but tuned to reach 42 Hz at -6 dB and 38 Hz at -10 dB. Peak output is 132 dB.

The connection panel matches the smaller model, so the two mix in one rig: two XLR/jack combo inputs, two XLR-Thru outputs, two high-passed satellite outputs for the tops, and a crossover switchable between 100 and 120 Hz. A 24 dB per octave subsonic filter and a peak limiter protect the driver. An M20 pole socket takes a mid/high cabinet directly above, and the MDF cabinet weighs 92.6 pounds.
