HK Audio LINEAR SUB 4000 Passive 18 inch Bandpass Subwoofer

The LINEAR SUB 4000 is a passive double-vented bandpass cabinet holding one 18-inch cone driver on a 4-inch voice coil. The bandpass alignment is what produces 106 dB sensitivity and 137 dB peak from a single driver, and it works from 39 Hz at -6 dB and 31 Hz at -10 dB. It is the recommended low end for the LINEAR 5 LTS long-throw package and extends an existing LINEAR SUB 2000 rig.

Power handling is 1200 W RMS at 4 ohms, crossed actively at 100 Hz by the controller amplifier. Connection is NL4 Speakon in and parallel out with switchable pin assignment. The birch plywood cabinet is finished in water enamel with a foam-backed steel grille, carries eight MultiGrip handles and two M20 pole sockets, and weighs 125.9 pounds. HK Audio publishes IPX, IPD and Lake presets with limiter settings included.
