ESE ES911 Master Clock/Time Code Generator
The ES-911 is a master clock and time code generator built to serve as the single time reference for a Public Safety Answering Point, keeping CAD systems, ANI/ALI controllers, voice recorders, and radio consoles in agreement to NENA standards. Time reads out on a 6-digit 0.56-inch LED display switchable between 12 and 24 hour format. It comes in two timebase versions: the ES-911/TSM runs from an internal quartz crystal reference and is set manually, while the ES-911/GPS disciplines itself to an internal GPS receiver.
Either version generates IRIG-B, IRIG-E, ESE, and RS-232C time code (with both Broadcast and Query ports) plus a 1 PPS signal, and the IRIG output is switchable between modulated and TTL. An RS-485 broadcast output and a loss-of-power relay support facility-wide distribution and alarming, daylight saving correction is automatic, and the whole thing lives in a rugged rackmount enclosure with a UL-approved power supply.
