ESE ES-820N Inline GPS Antenna Amplifier, N Connectors
The ES-820N is the same inline GPS antenna amplifier as the ES-820, 25 dB of gain at the GPS L1 frequency to let a master clock sit further from its antenna, but fitted with N connectors and adapters for the lower-loss RG-8, RG-213 or Belden 9913 cable that a long or difficult antenna run calls for. That combination stretches the achievable cable extension well past what standard RG-58 and TNC connectors allow.
Extension per amplifier reaches 200 feet on RG-8/RG-213 or 400 feet on Belden 9913, with the same 1.5 dB noise figure and 1555-1590 MHz bandpass as the ES-820. It draws its 3-10 VDC supply from the coax, and ESE recommends its ES-AB1A power supply where more than one amplifier is chained between the master clock and the antenna.
