ESE ES-198 NTP Referenced Time Code Generator
The ES-198 is a compact, budget-friendly way to put a network-synced clock display in a rack or control room. It reads hours, minutes, and seconds from a user-selected NTP server over its Ethernet port and shows the result on a 0.56-inch yellow LED display, then re-outputs that time as ESE (TC90) time code for downstream equipment.
An adjustable time zone offset and automatic daylight saving correction keep the display accurate without manual resets twice a year, and factory options add RS-232 or NPR time code outputs for facilities that need to feed the same time into legacy gear. It fits a standard 1.75-inch rackmount enclosure, making it an easy add to an existing equipment rack.
