ESE ES-230 NTSC/PAL Color Bar / Black-Burst Generator, 8 Outputs

The ES-230 is ESE's higher-output color bar and black-burst generator, driving RS-170A full-field bars or black-burst to eight composite BNC outputs at once so a bench or rack can align several monitors or feed several test points from one box. NTSC and PAL are both supported, with interlace or progressive scanning selectable.

An Auto-Black mode runs bars and tone for a selectable 30 or 60 seconds after Start is pressed, then switches to silent black-burst automatically, and an optional tone output puts a 1 kHz or 400 Hz sinewave on a rear RCA jack. NTSC pedestal and chroma on/off are set from front-panel DIP switches.
