ESE ES-206U Video Time and Date Inserter

The ES-206U superimposes six digits of time and six digits of date onto a looped-through NTSC or PAL video signal, referenced to its own internal stand-alone clock rather than an external time code feed. On-screen menus set character size and screen position, switch between side-by-side, stacked, time-only or date-only display modes, and choose 12 or 24 hour format.

Character and background brightness are independently adjustable from black to white, with a switchable keyed or transparent background mask, and the clock keeps itself correct through automatic leap-year and daylight-saving compensation with battery-backed memory for its settings. An optional RS-232 interface with Windows control-panel software adds remote configuration, and an S-Video option is available alongside the standard composite path.
