ESE ES-233 Video Fader

The ES-233 fades an NTSC composite video signal smoothly to black using a digitally controlled attenuator, which gives a linear, consistent fade instead of the uneven ramp a passive circuit produces. A ten-step front-panel selector sets the fade rate anywhere from 1 to 150 frames, and the fade can be triggered from the front panel or from a remote contact input.

It is a straightforward tool for a master control or presentation room that needs a clean fade between sources without routing through a full production switcher. Single or dual rackmount options let it share a rack space with other single-function boxes, and 220V and UL versions are available for export or code-compliant installs.
